Ruth is a Louisville native and has been a realtor for over 25 years.  Since she started working with Keller Williams Realty seven years ago, her business has been mainly focused on the needs of families and communities in Oldham County.

She and her husband, Dan, have two children, two children-in-law, and three grandsons whom they adore! Known to some as the “dog whisperer”, Ruth loves dogs of all kinds, but primarily her two Boston Terriers and one American Staffordshire Terrier. There is nothing more important to Ruth than her family, which includes her pets!

Ruth’s first grandson, Dash, was diagnosed with autism before he was two years old. Watching him become non-verbal, along with exhibiting other behaviors, personality changes, etc., was heartbreaking and life-changing for the whole family. Autism affects so many people on different levels, and everyone needs as many resources as possible to help navigate their journey. Because of her family’s experience, Ruth has chosen FEAT (Families for Effective Autism Treatment) as her charity.

While Ruth enjoys dancing at home, the occasional wedding reception, or in her car, it is both exciting, terrifying, and completely out of her comfort zone to dance in front of other people, especially in a competition!  But she is very excited to be a contestant this year, and having the chance to contribute much-needed funds to such a worthwhile event!
