The Charity of choice for David is Apron Inc., a 501 (3)(c) is an organization that provides temporary, limited financial relief to professional food and beverage industry workers in the Louisville, KY metro area who work at locally owned establishments and who are experiencing financial distress due to illness, injury or other issues. Food service professionals who have suffered an accident, family emergency, criminal act committed against such person or other catastrophic event are eligible for assistance.

In the restaurant industry during high school and college in KY and FL is when I reflected back and realized just how difficult it was to try and pay bills with no benefits (which a lot of folks in the industry do not have). Had there been an organization like Apron Inc., it would have eased the stress and difficulty at that time. Most folks I know have either worked or their kids have worked as a server, a dish washer or Maitre d’ or other capacity so I hope my charity will reach a soft spot that will enable you to donate. Today all three of my kids either work or have worked in the industry.

I often think about my past (who doesn’t) and all my fellow restaurant workers that do not have the help that they need (but are working). Please support my charity, Apron Inc., and help some of the owners, servers, chefs etc by donating through this pay pal acct. and at the same time help me win the Mirror Ball as I compete in Dancing with Prospect Stars!
